Back to my Prismacolors :)
I drew this on my failed watercolor paper, which has a smooth side and a rough side. This is on the rougher side, which I’m not sure if I like because while it gives great texture, I’m not fond of all the white specks showing through. I’ll probably go back later and try to fill it in.
I also wasn’t really sure what to do about the background, but I think I’m okay with it so far, the kind of layered effect with the gray.
I was trying to give her a sort of hopeful expression but I don’t know if I succeed or if it’s just my wishful thinking :)
It’s a good saying.
But I feel like all of us know not to be judgmental yet it still happens anyway.
And I know for sure when I go to the library, I pick the books with the most amazing covers :)
The pen is mightier than the sword.
Didn’t do any coloring this time…I love my Sharpies :)
A hard exterior hiding a heart of gold.
I’d actually never heard of this adage before, but when I came across it, I thought it sounded really beautiful.
Done with Prismacolor colored pencils. I tend to just shade with graphite usually, but I couldn’t do a gray rose!
